Located about a ten-minute drive away from Portugal's cosmopolitan capital, Lisbon, and a similar distance from Sintra facing Lisbon Sports Club. William "Rocky" Roquemore has done one of his prime designs at this championship standard par-72 golf course which measures 6,380 metres. The course meanders in amongst the hillsides, affording splendid views of the Sintra hills and is divided into two well defined parts: one with low density residential surroundings and the other through an untouched natural environment.
 

One of its signature holes is the 2nd called "Augusta" in honour of the 13th at that famous course for its beauty and difficulty. Facilities include restaurant, bar and pro-shop. Buggies, trolleys, golf clubs hire and lessons are other services available.
