With just 9 holes, the second course of Penha Longa is 2,588 metres long. The prettiest holes are hole number 4, by the hotel; and hole number 9, with its magnificent view of the Penha Longa Palace. Also designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the Mosteiro course is less undulated and easier than the Atlantic course. It's an accessible course for the higher handicaps and also a good alternative to the main course.
